How does it work?
It’s really easy, you just have to activate the app on your phone before you start the journey and finish it as soon as you reach your destination!
Satelise detects the location of the vehicle and will charge for any trips made, in a quick and convenient way.
Where can I use it?
At present this app is part of a pilot project and is limited to the A28 and A22 motorways, Norte Litoral and Algarve, and is available for both portuguese and foreign license plates. It is a joint initiative with Infraestruturas de Portugal, S.A. and will only be available for a limited time period, during 2020 and 2021.
Which payment methods are available on this app?
Satelise enables the payment through debit/credit/virtual card, as long as it is a VISA or MasterCard. If you choose to pay with card, every Tuesday we will automatically charge the tolls from trips you have made in the previous week.
Recently, Satelise has enabled the toll payment through MB reference and MB Way! The payment timings are similar, with a small difference, we won’t charge automatically every Tuesday. Instead, you will have a week from that day on to make the payment.
